Patscholek: MULTIPLE VOID - Short Rules

It sometimes occurs that you have invited some of your friends to play diplomacy on a standard map, but the number of players doesn´t match seven - so what are you going to do? Well, you can ask yours aunts why they still refuse "the hobby", but a probably better solution is this variant with those rule changes:

MULTIPLE VOID is a diplomacy-variant for a number of persons unequal 7.
The number of units per player varies like this:

2 Players - 12 Units - Sum = 24
3 Players - 8 Units - Sum = 24
4 Players - 6 Units - Sum = 24
5 Players - 5 Units - Sum = 25
6 Players - 4 Units - Sum = 24
8 Players - 3 Units - Sum = 24, etc.

The game starts in 1900 with the fall moves. There are no nations, but colors - and there are also no home supply centers, since the players start to put their units on an empty map ''outside'' the SC. The following 44 sea and land spaces are allowed for the initial building phase (before all movement begins):

# 1 - 11	# 12 - 22	# 23 - 33	# 34 - 44
ADR BUL LVN RUH
AEG BUR LYO SIL
ALB CLY MAO SKA
APU EAS NAF SYR
ARM ENG NAO TUS
BAL FIN NTH TYR
BAR GAL NWG TYS
BLA GAS PIC UKR
BOH HEL PIE WAL
BOT ION POR WES
BUD IRI PRU YOR

Please note that Bud, Bul and Por become SC in 1901, so the game starts with 31 SCs in the first year. The building mode is in every own free SC like in the Chaos variant.
