Any Austrian opening which orders the Trieste fleet into Venice. In its pure form, the Hedgehog sends Vienna to Galicia and Budapest to Rumania. A number of variants exist, based on the orders given to the Austrian armies: •Alpine Variation •Porcupine Variation •Dead Porcupine Variation •Fisher's Folly •Southern Hedgehog
