The German openings are categorized as follows: if the Berlin army is sent to Kiel, then if Munich opens to Ruhr, the opening is a Blitzkrieg opening, and if Munich does not open to Ruhr, the opening is named according to the order of the Kiel fleet. Otherwise (if Berlin does not open to Kiel) the opening is categorized based on the order given to the Berlin army.
